    relaxing garden
    cozy lounge
    spotty wi-fi

After a long day of walking, crashing here was just what we needed. The garden area was lovely for a quick unwind, and the cozy lounge was perfect for curling up with a book. The only hiccup was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin our stay! 🌟

100% recommend for a mini-break over the weekend

Comfortable room, friendly staff, and amazing location, with a lovely view and well-stocked complimentary tray making my solo stay incredibly satisfying while the free wi-fi in public areas kept me connected.

    Everything was just perfect.

    stunning countryside
    top-notch food
    bar noise

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the stunning countryside of Exmoor and also enjoyed some sea fishing trips at the harbour. The rooms were comfy, and the food was top-notch—definitely worth it! Make sure to try the local dishes!

One downside was the noise from the bar below our room, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.

    cozy room
    clean linens
    dog-friendly pack
    bar noise
    soundproofing

The Standard King Room was super cozy and clean. The bed was super comfy, and the fresh linens felt nice. We loved the little welcoming pack for our dog—it really made us feel at home. The bathroom was also in great shape, so no complaints there. A bit more soundproofing would be nice, though. we heard some noise from the bar below. it was a pretty solid stay!

    great location
    tasty food
    amazing fishing
    limited children's menu

What a fantastic stay! We explored the breathtaking trails around Exmoor and even tried our hand at some sea fishing from Lynmouth Harbour. Meals at the pub were amazing, especially the steak and ale pie. Our family truly loved the ambiance.

My children wished there were more kid-friendly menu options.

    lack of privacy

i stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic time. the room was cozy and well-stocked, and the food exceeded my expectations, especially the dinner options. the warm welcome from the staff made it feel like a home away from home during our relaxation in lovely lynmouth.

the shower needed a curtain or screen.

    character pub

    accessible environment

The delightful character of the pub, with its stone fireplaces and low ceilings, made me feel like I stepped into a cozy historical storybook. Perfectly charming and accessible throughout for those who may need a little extra support.

More seating options in dining area would be nice.

    log fire
    olde worlde feel

This was just a well-suited match for a weekend stopover in Lynmouth with real value for money. The log fire and olde worlde feel made our evenings cozy and relaxing. Be prepared for some quirks with the plumbing, though.

Exceptional food and a cozy atmosphere

Our recent stay was delightful, with a spacious room that was spotlessly clean and offered all the amenities we needed. The dining experience was a standout. every meal was well-prepared, with plenty of options that showcased local flavors. We especially enjoyed the friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel at home throughout our visit. a bit more variety in the breakfast offerings would have been appreciated.
